'THANKSLIVING' | #HITTIHOLIDAY

It's that time of year again, time to start thinking about Thanksgiving!  I cannot believe how fast this year has gone and once again we find ourselves at the holiday season.  I wanted to show you all a couple of ways to celebrate thankfulness, so I came up with four different activities.  One for each week this month!  Here's how to get started.

I think a really good way to think about how thankful you are is to sit down and relax.  Take the time for YOU to think about what you're thankful for.  Doing a craft always makes me happy.  I decided to take a wooden 'B' and paint it with chalkboard.  I got all of my materials in Target: $1 Chalkboard paint and $5 letter!  Super simple, adorable and done so quickly!

Have a constant reminder of what day it is!  Keep a countdown on your desk in the form of a calendar and write down little details of that day that made you happy.  It's really rewarding to think about all the things that make you happy and in turn, you feel so thankful.  Trust me!

Honor your girls (or your guys)!  I wrote these ADORABLE little notes for my best friends and I cannot wait to give them to them.  I used $1 gift bags and got the letter stickers (a sheet of ~96 for $1 each), and glued pom poms to the bags.  Inside, I wrote them each a cute little note.  I think it's nice to just write a note and not give a gift.  It's a more sentimental way to honor the holiday and Christmas is coming up anyway!  Being thankful is the point here and I am so happy to have them in my life.  Writing them a nice sentiment means more to me than a gift.

Get yourself organized.  Sometimes it helps to get yourself organized because when you really count all of your blessings, you can see how thankful you are.  Sometimes we all get caught up in life and to take the time to realize how busy we are, helps with seeing how thankful we are too.

I used a $3 clipboard from Target and painted a strip of chalkboard paint at the bottom for multi-functionality.  I love it!

I know these are somewhat unconventional ways to show and see how thankful you are.  That's okay, that's what I was going for.  I am so thankful for the amazing people and love I have in my life.  Aren't you? Tweet me who you're thankful for, I can't wait to hear!
