I had the amazing opportunity to try out some doTERRA oils recently and I am thrilled to have done so.  I've been thinking about trying oils for the longest time but didn't really know where to start.  When Alexandra kindly reached out and offered to provide some to try out, I happily accepted and here are my thoughts.

First of all, I was so happy to find that the oils came with cards on each one that explain what that particular oil is for.  I know there are so many things that each one can do and I didn't want to get caught up in doing anything wrong.

I was relieved to find out that the card had two sides explaining what you can do with each oil and how to use it.  I basically want to frame this and hang it on my wall to try every single method.  I mean come on!  Look at all that amazing power of healing these oils have.

I will say right now.  This Peppermint Oil is a life changer.  I cannot believe it and am so shocked, but this oil did shock me right to the core.  I have migraines often as they run in my family.  My father has always had migraines when he was younger and into his adult life and they were, not so politely, passed down to me.  I can just wake up with one, develop one in the beginning of the day (or any other time of day), or have one for weeks.

This Peppermint Oil eased my headache.  I always try to stay away from any type of pill; drinking tea/water and sleeping usually do the trick.  If I am riddled with a killer headache during the work week and I can't do anything else, I may take an Advil but I do anything I can to stay away.  I simply dabbed a little bit of the Peppermint Oil on the nape of my neck and rubbed some into my temples and within the half hour my headache was completely gone.  I of course supplemented with constant water consumption, but this Peppermint Oil was phenomenal and I cannot wait to order a whole bunch more.  I will certainly be keeping a little bit in my purse, at home, etc.

I recommend this Peppermint Oil to absolutely anyone!

I am looking forward to doing a little more with the On Guard Oil.  It has a very pleasant smell and I've been using it as a hand sanitizer.  Very enjoyable and a nice alternative to heavily concentrated hand sanitizers.

Have you tried oils yourself?  Let me know in the comments or tweet me what you think about them!  To get some of your own, check them out here!
*Thank you to Alexandra for sending me these samples.*
