Expression, creating change in your life, and politics.

There’s a lot to be said about expressing feelings.  It is not always easy to express the way you’re feeling, but I learned this morning that it is way more than worth it.  I don’t necessarily want to go into what I have been through in my life in this post, but it has been a lot.  In life, there really is no time to waste when it comes to cherishing people in your life that you know will be there for you at all times.

When something happens with someone close to you, I understand the time needed to cool down and get some space at first, but never let that time be that long.  The reason?  It really is not worth it to risk a relationship with someone so solid in your life over a momentary lapse or argument.

Today was a solid day other than that argument, but I did plea to get away to my friend.  She and I plan to visit LA in May, but I really want to go sooner.

I changed my room around a little bit.  Its refreshing to have a change once in a while and I enjoy making things a little different every now and then.  My room is fairly small and the upstairs of my house is a cape.  I love this setting because it reminds me of an old house in Ocean Grove or something and it makes me happy sometimes.  The one thing about my room though is that it gets extremely cold during the winter.  Then again, that is what my heated blanket is for. J  Do you guys enjoy change?

Classes were great today, it was a short day.  I really think it was a great thing to take my vacation on the first week of school.  Everything was so hectic between taking a story for the paper (everyone will hate me for the rest of the semester now because I was like basically drilling my sources), and signing papers for my internship and getting in touch with people.  If I had to be at work simultaneously, I think I would go insane.

I had Presidential Campaigns and Cultures of the World.  Cultures of the World is so annoying, I really cant understand why I must take a GU (Global Understanding) class in my major, which is Journalism.  I can understand why they might want me to take geography, but they don’t.  I don’t really know why.

Presidential Campaigns was great.  I love the class already and this was only the second time that we met.  The teacher is great and literally teaches the class conversation style, which I think identifies with all of the students way better than any other teaching style.  The topics in the classroom are great too because it forces the students to become involved with the presidential election and campaign trails.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I dedicate my life and all my extra time to politics.  Its actually quite sad that I postpone my social life for the Republican National Convention, debates, news reports, and important events of the like.  Do you guys like politics?  I think it is way more than like for me.
